Case Intake Specialist

Location:  Enola, PA 17025Schedule:  Full-TimeWork Model:  Hybrid flexibility after successful completion of training

About the Role

Are you exceptionally organized? Do you enjoy checking things off a list, keeping projects moving, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks? Do you pride yourself on responding quickly and staying on top of multiple priorities?

If so, you may be an excellent fit for our Case Intake Specialist position.

This role is the starting point of nearly every employment-based immigration case we prepare. You will work directly with corporate clients and foreign national employees to collect the information, documents, questionnaires, and signatures needed before the legal preparation of the case begins.

You won’t be expected to know immigration law or answer legal questions—we’ll train you on our internal processes. Instead, you’ll become an expert at organization, communication, and ensuring every case starts complete, accurate, and on schedule.

About Us

At Immigration Support Services (ISS), the work is anything but routine. Our clients include leading corporations, hospitals, universities, and research institutions across the United States. Every case you help prepare supports talented individuals pursuing careers, education, and research in the U.S.

We’re a close-knit team that values professionalism, collaboration, responsiveness, and accuracy. We invest in training and creating opportunities for long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact during the initial document collection stage of each case.
  • Request and collect required information, questionnaires, and supporting documentation from employers and foreign nationals.
  • Monitor outstanding items and proactively follow up to keep cases moving.
  • Review submissions for completeness before transferring the case to a Case Manager.
  • Organize electronic case files according to firm procedures.
  • Maintain accurate case notes and status updates in the firm’s case management system.
  • Coordinate with Case Managers to ensure smooth case handoffs.
  • Escalate legal questions or unusual situations to the assigned Case Manager.
  • Meet internal response-time expectations and help ensure client deadlines are achieved.
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with employers, foreign nationals, Case Managers, and other team members.
  • Assist with additional administrative and operational projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • College degree is a plus, but not required.
  • 1+ years of office, administrative, customer service, healthcare, banking, insurance, or other detail-oriented professional experience preferred.
  • Highly organized—to the point where incomplete checklists, unanswered emails, or missing documents genuinely bother you. You naturally follow up until every piece is accounted for.
  • Fast, reliable, and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently follow established processes.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good judgment about when to continue following a process and when to escalate an issue.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn.
  • Prior immigration or legal experience is not required.

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay, commensurate with experience.
  • 100% employer-paid Medical, Dental, Vision coverage.
  • Hybrid work flexibility after successful completion of the training period.
  • Comprehensive training.
  • 401(k) with employer match.
  • Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays.
  • A collaborative team environment with experienced colleagues.
  • A potential career path into Case Manager and other expanded roles for employees who demonstrate strong performance and an interest in advancement.

Interested in the Case Intake Specialist role?

Please submit your resume and a brief note explaining what interests you about this position and what you would bring to the ISS team. In your note, tell us about a time you had to keep following up with someone until a task or project was completed. Candidates who take this extra step tend to stand out.

Paralegal / Case Manager – Business Immigration

Location:  Enola, PA 17025Schedule:  Full-TimeWork Model:  Hybrid options after probationary training period

About the Role

Are you highly organized and self-motivated, with a drive to take ownership of your work? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where urgency and accuracy matter? Are you a problem solver who enjoys learning complex processes and seeing the real impact of your work on people’s lives?

If that sounds like you, you may be an excellent fit for our Paralegal/Case Manager position as we look to expand our team. This role offers a flexible schedule and hybrid work options. It requires critical thinking, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to manage cases with precision and care. No prior immigration or paralegal experience is necessary; we will train the right candidate.

About Us

At Immigration Support Services (ISS), the work is anything but routine. When you prepare a filing, you’re helping a professor return to her eager students, a researcher continue groundbreaking work, or an engineer build something that didn’t exist before. Our clients include some of the most respected corporations, hospitals, universities, and research institutions in the country—and they rely on us to navigate every stage of the immigration process with clarity and care.

Based in Harrisburg, PA, we are a trusted employment-based immigration firm serving clients across the U.S. We are a close-knit team that takes pride in doing complex work at a high level—and we invest in the people who join us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file employment-based immigration petitions and applications under attorney supervision.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple client matters simultaneously, keeping cases moving and deadlines met.
  • Draft and edit case documents and correspondence with strong written communication skills.
  • Communicate directly with corporate clients and foreign national employees to gather required documentation.
  • Learn and apply government regulations, agency policies, and procedural guidance.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and fellow case managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of filings.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional—almost fanatical—attention to detail. Accuracy is not optional in this role; it is the role.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of full-time professional experience after graduation, OR an associate’s degree in paralegal studies with 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced professional setting.
  • No J.D. or paralegal certification required—we will train the right candidate on immigration from the ground up.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; comfortable managing competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Prior immigration experience is a plus, but not required.

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay, commensurate with experience.
  • Hybrid work flexibility after successful completion of the training period.
  • 401(k) with employer match.
  • Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays.
  • A genuinely collaborative team—our case managers and attorneys work closely together, and tenured staff are always willing to help.
  • A niche, intellectually engaging field—employment-based immigration is complex, and mastering it is genuinely rewarding.
